I love my Kindle but while Maria was here I watched her read 2 books on her laptop. She just downloaded the free Kindle ap. There is a price war going on now with the Kindle and the Nook.

  2. Beadnit says:

ShopSmart (a Consumer Reports pub) just rated the Kindle as the best eReader available. Amazon dropped the price to under $200. I have the original Kindle, although I now use my iPad as my reader. The latest Kindle can view PDF files so you can load knitting patterns on it!
