I just received my Reynolds Mandalay from Herrschner’s. The color is #12 Garnet. Garnet makes you think red, right? I didn’t think to enlarge the color swatch picture on the website. Our monitor colors here kind of suck anyway, so I didn’t think it’d be real accurate. I went with Garnet… because I haven’t knitted much with red, and I don’t own much red, but Cozy in red just seemed kinda cool.
Instead? It will be in the purpley hue that my Mandalay is in. Kind of a happy accident since purple is more my color than red, but also kind of a disappointment.. because, well, it wasn’t RED!
